Copy of SKINCARE MUST-HAVES FOR DRY SKIN

I have met very few people in this world who actually suffer from a SEVERE level of dry skin. I'm talking ceaseless tight feelings on the skin, peeling, cracking, etc etc. Dry skin can sometimes be the worst thing on this dang planet and I wanted to share a few of my favourite products to battle it!

I have been using the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin range for dry/sensitive skin over the last few weeks, and I can truly say that no product has ever left my skin feeling completely moisturized ALL DAY LONG. the Liquid serum is applied first followed by the Cream, and this combination will plump up and hydrate your skin on another level. I get ZERO tightness or dry patches with this combo, and it's almost at the point where I feel comfortable in saying goodbye to dry skin FO EVA. Also, it sits beautifully underneath makeup (no problems there). If you have the worlds most dry skin, this combo is a must try!

I've also been using this Beehive Chamomile & Honey Enzyme Facial Butter around my mouth whenever I am feeling extra dry. I'll sometimes pop it on the lips and hands too -- it's a pretty versatile moisturizing balm. I keep this in my purse just in case I'm touching my face a lot throughout the day and rubbing off the skincare products!

I've been trying to live on a minimal / least invasive lifestyle when it comes to cleansers, and this snag from the drugstore has been working wonders. The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is the perfect option if you have incredibly dry and sensitive skin, because it works to cleanse the skin without leaving that dry stripped feeling behind. It is also non-comedogenic, which means that it won't clog the pores and cause acne. This is a fabulous and affordable cleanser option that I have been loving!

The Fresh Soy Face Exfoliant is the only physical exfoliator that I have used to date that does not cause pain on my skin. This buffs away all of the crappy dry & peeling layers and leaves behind plump baby butt skin. It also has an incredibly strong cucumber scent which leaves the skin feeling so refreshed! This is a pricey number, but my old bottle lasted over a year and it is definitely worth the spend. I use this about 2-3 times per week depending on how much crap I have been layering on my face, and it totally makes my skin feel like new!

For days when I need a bit of a more intensive hydration boost, I'll add a layer of this MV Organics Pure Jojoba oil underneath my regular skincare routine. It helps the skin to soak up all of the moisturizing goodness and makes the skin feel so smooth and hydrated!

The same goes with the Cocoon Apothecary Rosehip Oil -- except that I use this at night. When my skin is feeling especially irritated or dry, I will layer this oil underneath my beloved Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (which I use as a night cream) and my skin will feel so relieved and soothed come the morning. This is a killer nighttime combo if you want to pack on a serious hydrating and soothing punch to the skin!
